Low Cost IVF-Test Tube Baby Treatment Program in Aurangabad, Maharashtra

What is IVF (In Vitro Fertilization)?
IVF is the original 'test-tube' baby technique. In an in vitro fertilization procedure, eggs are gathered from the woman's ovaries and mixed with the man's sperm outside the body, usually in a glass dish in a laboratory. "In vitro" comes from Latin and literally means "in glass," a reference to the glass container where fertilization of the egg (oocyte) takes place. (While this is usually a dish, the term " test-tube babies" has become widely used.) The fertilized eggs are then cultivated for a few days and transferred to the woman's uterus. In addition to standard in vitro fertilization treatment, options like intracytoplasmic sperm injection [ ICSI ], preimgenetic diagnosis plantation, egg donation and gestational surrogacy are made possible through this process.
Who Needs In Vitro Fertilization (IVF)?

Couples may benefit from in vitro fertilization (IVF) treatment if the any one of the following factors are present:
  • Female Factors
  • Damaged or blocked fallopian tubes, including post tubal ligation
  • Ovaries are unresponsive to fertility medications, such as clomiphene citrate (Clomid)
  • Immunological factors
  • Endometriosis - related infertility
  • Uterine / Endometral defects
  • "Unexplained" infertility
  • Male Factors
  • Low sperm count
  • Poor sperm motility (sperm does not move well)
  • Unexplained" infertility
IVF Procedure :
IVF is offered to patients, when some initial infertility testing to establish the cause of infertility (such as a sperm count, a few hormone tests and an evaluation of the uterine cavity) indicates that IVF is an appropriate treatment approach
Stage1: Ovulation Induction
All IVF treatments begin with a course of hormone therapy to stimulate the development of several follicles in the ovary. This process starts about one week before menstruation with the administration of medications to prevent early ovulation. Once menstruation begins, fertility medications are given daily to stimulate the maturation of oocytes. When the eggs are fully mature, usually about eight to ten days later, an additional medication is given and the patient is prepared for egg retrieval. Soft protocols are tailored for many patients , which reduce cost of injections without compromising success rate.
Stage2: Egg Retrieval
The mature eggs are collected for in vitro fertilization using a simple outpatient procedure known as ultrasound-guided transvaginal oocyte aspiration. This process takes between 10 and 15 minutes and recovery is brief. Semen is collected on the same day as the egg retrieval procedure.
Stage3: Insemination
Once the eggs and semen have been collected, they are sent to our clinic lab, where a brief processing is done and eggs are mixed with sperms.
Stage4: Embryo Transfer
If in vitro fertilization of the eggs occurs, two to three healthy embryos will be selected for embryo transfer, or placement into the uterus. Any additional embryos can be cryopreserved, or frozen, for later use in case the first IVF cycle is unsuccessful. Hopefully, one or two of the transferred embryos will implant, resulting in a successful pregnancy.

There are different answers based on different women in answer to the question about IVF procedures and pain. Studies show that there is some pain associated with IVF procedures, but that it is minimal. There are some rare exceptions when an IVF procedure is painful. There are also many women that have answered that IVF procedure is not painful.
