New Haj house to be built in Aurangabad : Maharashtra Goverment Approroved Proposel

Mumbai : The Maharashtra government has approved a proposal to build a new Haj house in Aurangabad in Marathwada region of the state, Minorities Development Minister Naseem Khan said here. "The Haj house to be built on a two acre area will cost about Rs 19 crore. The construction work will start soon and would be completed in two years," he told reporters. The Haj house, which provides accommodation to the Haj bound Muslims, will house the head-office of state Wakf board. Besides, it will have a library which will have Urdu literary works, Khan said. 

He also said that the government has reserved another two acre plot for the construction of 'Vande Mataram' auditorium. "CIDCO has been appointed as nodal agency for the construction of the auditorium. The auditorium work adjacent to the Haj house will be undertaken by the Higher and Technical education department of the state government," he added.
