Campaigning activities in Marathwada's 46 assembly constituencies have picked up with elections rallies of prominent leaders from all major political parties. 770 candidates remain in the fray from the 46 segments, besides the Beed Lok Sabha seat by-election, both to be held on Oct 15. With just seven days left for campaigning across the state the Mahayuti (BJP-RPI-SSS-RSP), Shiv Sena, Congress, NCP, MNS, MIM, BSP, SP and left parties have started hectic campaign preparations after each having to contest this election independently following break up of the major alliances.
