Maharashtra to regain its lost glory: Shah

Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) national president Amit Shah today said that Maharashtra will regain its lost glory under his party's government as people of the state had voted for the development during assembly elections. Maharashtra will once again come to number one position in the country in all sectors, he said while talking to reporters here. He further said that young Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis will work to resolve the problems of youths, women, farmers and every common citizens of the state.

Mr Shah reiterated that state BJP government was committed to bring all round development in every sector including agriculture, irrigation, power and industry among others. Asked about controversial win of BJP government during the vote of confidence in assembly on November 12, he said that BJP had proved its majority by voice vote on the floor of the house.

To another query whether his party had taken indirect support of NCP for the trust vote and whether BJP will continue talks with former ally Shiv Sena, Mr Shah further said that people will get the answers to these questions at appropriate time. On the occasion, Union Minister of State Raoshaeb Danve, MLA Atul Save, district chief Eknath Jadhav and city chief Bapu Gadamode among others were also present. Mr Shah, who was on a two-day tour to Aurangabad and Jalna districts since yesterday, inaugurated crushing season of sugar mills at Paithan and Bhokardhan in these districts.

Earlier in the day after his arrival from Bhokardan, he visited a temple situated at Daulatbad near here and spend some time with Vijay Ratnasunder Suriswar Maharaj, a top religious guru of Jain community.
