Unemployment issue to be resolved through DMIC: Mah CM

Around Rs 1,200 crore will be invested in Delhi Mumbai Industrial Corridor (DMIC) while there is a demand of additional Rs 3,500 crore that will resolve unemployment issue, said Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis.

He was addressing a public rally in Jai Bhavani Nagar area of the city on last evening to canvass for the candidates of BJP and Shiv Sena in Aurangabad Municipal Corporation. He said after Sindhudurg, Aurangabad has been declared as the Tourism District and the government will take efforts to make the district a Tourism Cluster soon. Mr Fadnavis asserted that he likes Aurangabad just like Nagpur, so, the government will take efforts to provide water, roads and other facility for the promotion of tourism here.The alliance government at the Centre and state and if people elect them AMC elections, all the promises will be fulfilled. "The good days are coming and the voters should bring the alliance government in the AMC," he said.

The Chief Minister said the government has planned the water supply, solid waste management, traffic, public transport and CCTV programmes for the city.He mentioned that the state government with the assistance of the Union government has taken the initiative to establish a memorial of Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj in the Arabian Sea and the memorial of Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar at Indu Mill.
