CIMA urges Mah govt to announce State policy for Start Ups

Chamber of Marathwada Industries and Agriculture(CMIA) has appealed to the State government to immediately announce the 'State Policy for Start Ups' during the ongoing budget session. According to the officials statement issued by CMIA today stated that, Prime Minister Narendra Modi in his address to the Nation on the occasion of Independence Day, August 15 ,2015 had announced 'Start Up India' and 'Stand Up India'. Considering the Central government special focus on creating a Eco-system for 'Start Ups' on this day itself CMIA has appealed to the state Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis to announce State Policy for 'Start Ups'.

Other prominent states like Gujrat, Karnataka, Tamilnadu, Kerla, Andhra Pradesh have already announced the Stat Policy for promoting 'Start Ups', the statement said.The statement further said that, for attracting new companies/new investments and creating a favourable environment for 'Start Up' companies it is important that Government need to announce State Policy on Start Ups with special focus on 'Establishment of Incubation Centres', 'Promoting Innovation' and Venture Fund for'Start Ups' so that Maharashtra will emerge as the Investment and Innovation capital of the country and will help in attracting and producing 1st Generation Entrepreneurs in Maharashtra State, helping in creating new job opportunities for the talented youths in the State, the statement added.
