2-day conference of AIMLTA in Aurangabad to be held on April 23

A two-day 41st national conference of All India Medical Laboratory Technologist Association (AIMLTA) will be held on April 23 at Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University's (BAMU) auditorium here. In a joint press conference by the National president of AIMLTA Dhananjay Kumar and A N Sinha general secretary said the Conference will be inaugurated by Union Health Minister J P Nadda. Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis, state assembly speaker Haribhau Bagade and BJP state chief Raosaheb Danve will be the chief guest.

Mr Kumar said laboratory technologist from across the country have been struggling for their right to practice even after being of service to thousands of patients across the country. 


AIMLTA is constantly working towards solving this issue and have founded the Medical Laboratory Technologists Council of India (MLTCI) on the lines of Medical Council OF India (MCI) will highlights its demands at creating robust administrative structure for service and business to laboratory technologist at theconference, he said.

Other issues would be discussed including founding of the Medical Laboratory Technologists Council on the lines of the Medical Council of India (MCI) to facilitate employment and making necessary arrangements for business growth in the field, determining minimum wage and appointing technicians at medical colleges and hospitals, municipal hospitals and in social health services based on the principle of 'equal income, equal work and equal name'.
