Shiv Sena MPs meet Gadkari, discuss developmental works in Aurangabad


Shiv Sena leader and Aurangabad MP Chandrakant Khaire and Anand Aadsul ,another MP of Shiv Sena, on Wednesday met with Union Minister for Transport Nitin Gadkari here to discuss road and bridge developmental works in and around Aurangabad city. A letter , written to Mr Gadkari by Mr Khaire stated that though Aurangabad has tremendous potential , it failed to achieve it as it is continuously neglected and deprived of the required infrastructure .The Aurangabad city is Maharashtra state tourist capital city, major industrial hub in state and divisional headquarter of Marathwada region.

In his letetr to mr Gadkari, Mr Khaire said, ''I want to recall your declaration made by you in 2015 in public meeting here for improvement of Aurangabad stretching by six laning of Jalna road from Nagarnaka Junction old NH-211 to Cambridge school Chikalthana road section and Beed bypass existing NH-211 from Zalta phata to Mahanubhav chowk and connecting links with two bridges.''

The two bridges connecting Mahanubhaav Chowk, Mukundwadi and Deolai, worth Rs 750 crore, were sanctioned by the National Highway Authority and Transportation ministry. Mr Gadkari has promised to complete the development work.
