NCP Youth wing activists protest against hike in fuel prices

The activists of youth wing of Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) on Monday held a unique demonstration here to protest against the hike in the prices of petrol and diesel across the country by the BJP-led government. The protesters, led by NCP Youth wing city unit chief Datta Bhange, sat in a semi-nude condition in front of the Raj petrol pump and demonstrated against the BJP-led government both at the Center an din the state by raising various slogans.

They alleged that the Nardendra Modi-led government has failed tobring "acche din" as promised by Mr Modi before coming to power and said that due to daily rise in fuel prices, the common people,farmers, students and traders among others were facing a lot of inconvenience. "If the fuel prices continue to rise, the people will have to face inflation," they added.
