Shiv Sena activists dump garbage in Aurangabad collectorate to

A day after Maharashtra ChiefMinister Devendra Fadnavis gave a stern warning to Aurangabad Municipal Corporation to solve overdue problem of dumping of garbage in city or face action, the Shiv Sena activists vent their ire on Thursday by littering the district collector's office premises with garbage.

The Sena activists, led by district unit chief Ambadas Danve, brought garbage and threw it around in premises of districtcollector's office to protest against the Chief Minister's yesterday's warning to AMC, in which the Sena-BJP alliance is in power since last 25 years. Mr Danve held BJP equally responsible for it (dumping of garbage)saying it was also a ruling partner in AMC along with them. He also held responsible the state government for not making the land available in city for dumping of garbage.

Later, talking to newsmen here this afternoon, collector Uday Chaudhari said that the littering by Shiv Sainiks in the collector's office premises near the flagstaff was an insult of tricolor. Hence, administration has ordered to take suitable action against the Shiv Sainiks who were involved in it, he added.
