Congress to start 'Elgar Yatra' against BJP on Sep 24 ahead of

The Congress party has started preparations to pull down the ruling BJP government in forthcoming election as it has failed to fulfill the promises made during the election period and thus betrayed the people of the state, Aurangabad district Congress president and Sillod MLA Abdul Sattar said on Monday. Addressing a press conference here, he said that the people of the state were at present facing hardship daily due to the continuous rise in fuel prices, inflation, farmers' suicides, and unemployment.

"Hence, we have decided to start 'Elgar Yatra' on September 24 in Delhi in presence of senior party leaders," he said. Mr Sattar accused the AIMIM (All India Majlis-e-Ittihad-ulMuslimeen) party of working for BJP and said that he would soon expose their hidden agenda.

The Congress will never have any tie-up with AIMIM and MNS(Maharashtra Navnirman Sena) because they are communal parties, theMLA said and informed that talks over sharing of seats will be held with like-minded parties including Dalit organizations like BRP-BMM. On newly formed Bahujan Vanchit Agadhi, he said that it won't have any impact if they do not come along with the Congress party in an election. On this occasion, party's city chief Namdev Pawar and former MLAKalyan Kale among others were present.
