Kendriya Youth Festival inaugurated in Aurangabad


Cinestar Subodh Bhave on Wednesday expressed concern over the students taking extreme steplike suicide for failing in class XII examination and advised the youths to learn to accept failure as a part of life. He made this observation while addressing the gathering after the inauguration of four-day-long Kendriya Youth Festival organized by the Dr Babasaheb Ambedkar Marathwada University here.

Vice-chancellor Dr B A Chopde, Ashok Tejankar, Sadhana Pande, DrDasu Vaidya, and Dr Sudhakar Shendge, among others, were present on the dial on this occasion. In this Mahotsav, 1,185 boys and 966 girls from 226 colleges will present 38 various arts and cultural shows.

Before the inauguration of Mahotsav, a 'Shobha Yatra' with students playing different musical instruments like drums, tal, mrudung,sambala and tuntuna was taken out from the Dr Ambedkar's statue. Police has made heavy security arrangement in and around the venuein view of the threat given by some students' organizations to foil the function.
