Shiv Sena MLA Harshavardhan Jadhav to float the new outfit


Shiv Sena MLA from Kannada, Harshavardhan Jadhav, on Wednesday announced that he will be floating a new outfit shortly to get a reservation for the Maratha and hangar communities. He made this announcement while addressing a meeting of theHarshvardhan Jadhav Mitra Mandal held here at Tapdiya Natya Mandir. Mr. Jadhav accused the Sena leadership of not letting him voice his views on the Maratha quota issue and said hence he decided to quit the party.

The new party will strive to get quota for these communities, he said and informed that its name will be announced in a couple of days. The party would be launched formally in November and it may contest the Lok Sabha elections, he said. Due to rise in social injustice among various castes, he has decided to form a new party to ensure social equilibrium as mentioned in the constitution, which includes right to equality and equal opportunity, he pointed. Mr. Jadhav added that his resignation as MLA is yet to be accepted by the Maharashtra Assembly Speaker Haribhau Bagade.
