Traders nationwide daylong stir on Sep 28

The members affiliated to AllIndia Traders Organisation will observe a daylong 'bandh' across the country on September 28 to press for their various demands. Addressing a news conference here on Tuesday, Aurangabad ZillaVyapari Mahasangh president Jagannath Kale accompanied with secretary Laxminarayan Rathi said that the daylong nationwide strike has been called on September 28 to press for their various demands and they have received support from a number of traders' bodies including CAIT among others. 

A day before the 'bandh', a motorcycle rally will be taken out on September 27 in a city to create awareness among the public in this regard, he informed. Their demands are cancellation of Walmart and Flipkart contract, to disallow foreign direct investments (FDI) in online trading and retail trades, to make powerful and transparent laws for online trading, to introduce two slabs in GST and fine should not be more than Rs 10,000 with withdrawal of jail punishment, traders payingGST be given LIC insurance cover and pension scheme, to raise income tax limit slab up to Rs five lakh and provide loans to traders less interest among others.
