Next Mah CM to be of Shiv Sena: Thackeray

Shiv Sena president UddhavThackeray on Tuesday maintained that the party will contest next state assembly election on its own strength and declared that the next chief minister will be of the Sena. Addressing the party's booth chiefs and gat pramukhs here this evening after addressing such meetings at Latur and Beed earlier in the day, he directed the Shiv Sainiks to start preparations for the same. Targeting their ally in the state government BJP, Mr. Thackerayaccused BJP of making false promises but delivering nothing.

In his criticism of the BJP-led state government, he said that the government had announced the loan waiver scheme for debt-ridden farmers and questioned why was the amount not credited into their bank accounts. "So where has the money gone?", he wondered.

On his affirmation of building the Ram temple at Ayodhya in Uttar Pradesh, the Sena chief said that they had a strong desire to build the temple and sought cooperation from BJP in this regard. Mr. Thackeray took a potshot at former deputy chief minister and NCP leader Chhagan Bhujbal saying that he should not give any advice to him as he (Bhujbal) himself has just come out on bail in a graft case. He appealed to the Sainiks to render all possible help to drought-affected farmers of the Marathwada region.
