  • Take a meal when you feel hungry.
  • Never eat food items together which are incompatible such as milk and salt.

  • Include seasonal food in your meals.
  • You should always take 10 to 15 minutes of a walk after every meal so that food will digest easily.

  • Do not include unhealthy oils in your diet.
  • You should always add these five items in your diet which are honey, almonds, fruit, ghee, and milk.

  • Stop your irregular eating habits.

A balanced diet plan

1. Wake up in the early morning, take 1 glass of lukewarm water following 15 minutes of a morning walk.

2. Have your breakfast in between 7:30 to 9 AM.

3. Try to include one glass of juice of fruits like orange or pineapple at mid-morning.

4. Take your largest meal, lunch in between 1:30 pm to 2:00 pm.

5. Include fresh vegetable juice, lemon tea at mid-afternoon when you feel hungry.

6. Have light food, dinner in between 7:30 pm to 8:00 pm.

Important note: According to Ayurveda, it is better to eat sweet food at the start of the meal then sour and salty fool in middle and end your meal by eating astringent, bitter and pungent food.
